It's a eurasian jay, telling stories to the moon
This piece is HUGE.. and most of the tiny knotwork is hardly visable.. sadly.. Not to mention that shrinking it down so bad removed all the clearness of all the individual feathering that is visable on the original

I agree with gatcat, wish I could see the real thing! Never heard of eurasian jays, this made me google them XD Great job on the celtic knots, I wouldn't have patience to make them match so well. How long did this take you?

What was the original size? Even shrunk down I think it's wonderful, would make a nice print.
